With over 20 years of experience in education, both at the k-12 and higher education levels, Beth is able to envision the “big picture” and then strategize to achieve the best outcomes for individuals and organizations.
Beth has received numerous awards and been recognized for her innovative approach to program development and management which can be viewed on her curriculum vitae. Using effective strategies to help manage programs, while keeping the human touch, is key to success. Beth holds an MA in Education, three California Credentials, several training certificates, and is currently working on a PhD in Higher Education Leadership with a focus on student success and thriving. Empowered by observations and experience, Beth has a strong belief that leadership is critical to student success and healthy organizations. Therefore, she focuses on helping leaders to self-assess and motivate others.
Her drive to help others succeed comes from a personal story of overcoming challenges. She has benefited from teachers and mentors who made a difference in her life, and feels fortunate that she can now “give back” to others. She and her husband, Scott, established a church and nonprofit serving homeless individuals and families in skid row Los Angeles between 1988-2003. They lived in the inner city for many years raising their family and being a part of the community where they established Central City Community Church and Outreach. During that time they became foster parents to three teenage boys and have two biological children of their own. Beth feels strongly that we can all make a positive difference in the lives of young people. Your organization or school will benefit from what Beth has to share, both professionally and personally. Her story will inspire and motivate you toward success!
